For the most part, you'll find the same ebooks at each virtual online ebook store, just differences in price. Happily, I found the Diesel eBook download store to be the exception to the rule. Not only did they have most of the titles I've found at other sites online, they had a nice selection I hadn't seen anywhere else, in particular, the complete collection of original Sherlock Holmes novels all in one compendium, and in Palm eReader format, just how I like.

Bloggers on the Bus: How the Internet Changed Politics and the Press
Since the entry of radio into American homes, technology has led the way for political campaign strategies. Boys on the Blog will offer the first detailed look at the latest revolution in campaign strategy-- the blogosphere. Liberal politcking in particular has been radically impacted by these grassroots, often individual efforts over the last few years. This ad-hoc, mostly pro bono, community (aka the Netroots) has been able to change, in telling and significant ways, American politics and media. Using the 2008 presidential White House campaign as a dramatic and compelling backdrop, the book will detail the myriad of ways that the blogs influenced the candidates and the campaigns. Colored by vivid portraits and character sketches, this book will reveal the new wave of changes that has revolutionized progressive politics. In the tradition of Timothy Crouse's essential bestseller, The Boys on the Bus, Boys on the Blog goes inside the modern world of liberal politics to reveal the stories and scandals at its very heart. The cast includes former pro rock saxophonist John Amato who, years before YouTube, changed blogging forever by hacking his TiVo and figuring out how to post TV clips online, and former Hollywood record executive Howie Klein, who's helped lead the charge to recapture Congress for the Democrats with his online boot camp for candidates. There is sixtysomething Oakland housewife Mayhill Fowler, who joined the Huffington Post as a volunteer journalist and went on to break one of the biggest scoop of the Democratic primary (Obama's closed-door "bitter” comments). These are just some of the passionate and influential bloggers who are pioneering a major shift in today's media. They have set off an industry debate about journalism and privacy, and have changed the face of campagin strategy. Like the many passionate reporters and observers who came before them, these men and women are breaking new ground every day. Boys on the Blog will chronicle that media and political rebellion as it unfolds and introduce readers to the fascinating players involved.
