The year the Guadalajara cartel tortured and murdered Kiki Camarena, Jack Novak was working out of the Nogales DEA office. Though he'd seen action in the past, the next six months would find him facing down the worst of the Central American drug traffickers. In the process, he would also avenge the kidnapping of an innocent and stop a crooked politician with his sights on the Mexican presidency.

After seducing nubile young Susana Aguilera in the line of duty, Novak flees with her to avoid the vengeance of her father, Pablo Antonio Aguilera, a corrupt high-level politico and Mexico's chief anti-narcotics officer. Novak and Susana take refuge in the Florida Keys, where they lead an idyllic life -- until discovered by Aguilera's thugs. With Susana imprisoned in her father's Acapulco mansion, Novak seeks a way to recover her and neutralize her father. Susana's mother offers him a solution that involves the risk of death and murder.
