Long before I was a psychiatrist, I was a basketball fan, and throughout
my adult years I have followed the careers of great players and
great coaches. One person I have admired from afar is John Wooden,
the legendary coach known as "The Wizard of Westwood," who earned his

in 12 seasons before he retired in 1975.
