For the most part, you'll find the same ebooks at each virtual online ebook store, just differences in price. Happily, I found the Diesel eBook download store to be the exception to the rule. Not only did they have most of the titles I've found at other sites online, they had a nice selection I hadn't seen anywhere else, in particular, the complete collection of original Sherlock Holmes novels all in one compendium, and in Palm eReader format, just how I like.

Frommer's San Antonio and Austin

The Best of San Antonio & Austin

Drawing up best-of lists (and reading those of others) has become a favorite pastime in the U.S. these days. Almost every national magazine or Podunk weekly newspaper has its yearly best-of list. Make your own lists. There are a lot of things in San Antonio and Austin that lend themselves to such lists: best walks through downtown, best margarita, best puffy taco, best way to work off the aftereffects of too many margaritas and puffy tacos. Make your lists, but let me help with the research.

Strolling the Grounds of the Alamo: In the middle of this bustling city, the grounds of the Alamo (holy grounds, if you consider yourself a Texan) can seem curiously quiet on some days, when the crowds have abated-so quiet you ca ... read full excerpt from Frommer's San Antonio & Austin (Frommer's Complete #667) ebook
