In Unit 1 you will work with basic word roots and a handful of common
suffixes.(These are listed in the Mini-Glossary, below.) You'll examine
many compound medical terms and discover meanings for all the parts.
You'll practice adding various endings to roots and combining forms. By
study and practice you'll make more than 30 meaningful medical terms.
