It started with a storm, and ended with a family destroyed by their village's rigid adherence to tradition. Aichi is forced into adulthood as everything and everyone he knows and loves are taken from him. Left to fend for himself in a familiar world without comfort or promise, he flees from the life that destroyed his childhood.
