Playtime in Phoenix: The Ultimate Guide to Learning and Having Fun with Kids! is so organized and full of activities around the Phoenix, Arizona metro area our family didn't know where to start so we started in Chapter 1 and worked our way through Chapter 8. Whether you are looking for something new to do in the area, or are stumped on where to hold your child's next birthday party, Playtime in Phoenix offers more than 1,600 family-friendly activities throughout the Valley and state you will want to take a year's sabbatical from work and hit every item as a family! I even checked out the author's web site at www.playtimeinphoenix.com, and if you are hesitant to buy a copy check out the Chapters tab to see the Contents of the book. If you want to take a sneak at the first 45 pages of the book, Ms. Bolick's publisher has a preview on their web site, too. Finally, this book was handy for helping to decide on a summer camp, kid's classes, and kid-friendly eateries in the Valley. This book is worth every cent and then some because the author shares her insights on the area's free attractions, deals on meals, and other free outings that you might want to explore. The book was given advanced praise by the former Governor of Arizona as well as the former Superintendent of Public Instruction so it flows right with the subtitle of the book! I've bought copies of this book for expectant parents, new associates who just moved to the Valley, and grandparents I know looking for good activities to participate when their grandkids visit!
