	An amazing sensitive and accurate account of Reloc 01/03/2006

The authour has managed to capture with amazing sensitivity, humour and accuracy, the realties of relocation, not only at the psychological level, but also at sociological level, that migrant families face when confornted with a different race and culture. I believe that this book should be a handbook for the immigration authorites who are urging persons to setlle in Canada. They can use the book to gain knowledge that can help alleviate incipient challenges that migrants face, some of which can be avoided and so ease somewhat their entry into Canada. It is a timeless account and interestingly enough ,it reminds me of my own situation years ago in the 60's when I first migrated to the UK! This book is a "must". It is informative as well as reassuring. I highly recommend it to all would be migrants especially those from the Carribean region.

I enjoyed reading Marcia's book. It brought back memories of my arrival in Canada over 20 years ago. Marcia is a good friend of mine. We met shortly after her arrival in Canada and I know first hand of her frustrations and joys in settling herself and family into Canada. I look forward to Marcia's next book. Margaret Mailloux
