Mel B. often writes short stories about A.A. And he writes them well. His works on Ebby Thacher, Bill W., and other writings are spiffy, easily understood and enlightening. My own interest has been in the religious literature early AAs read. And certainly two important items were Drummond's essay on 1 Corinthians 13 and Allen's As a Man Thinketh. Mel covers them well. Dick B.
