For many women, having children is extremely important. For a small, but growing percentage of these women, conceiving biological children of their own is very difficult and sometimes impossible. Then there is a small percentage of others who are able to conceive a child, but have high-risk pregnancies, and their children are born premature, with health issues, challenged, or in some cases have a combination of all three. After twelve years of waiting and hoping, Susan Labouliere-Perry was finally blessed with a child. She had a high-risk pregnancy and her daughter was born eight weeks premature.
