The universe is challenging us to expand our understanding of what it means to be human. We are being asked to reinterpret our ideas of who and what we are in order to clearly see the connections that exist between all humans and the natural world around them. Many of the great mythologies, religions, and philosophies have pointed to this same principle of unity. However, all of these belief systems were created to explain the unity within groups much smaller than the entire modern world.

We are being called to develop a Mythology for the New World. This new mythology must include what we have learned through science. It must also include what we have learned throughout the ages from our spiritual and religious experiences. It is not necessary that there be one shared global myth. However, all of the new myths humanity develops must point to the same concept of global unity if we are to progress successfully into the future.

Together we will create a world of peace and safety - a world in which we all remember that we belong to each other.
