This book will assist the USA and other non-metric countries to at least move forward a bit more towards metrication. If all students (at an early age) had access to a copy of this book it would encourage promotion of SI units. Buy copies for your local High School and you will assist your child and others to 'think metric'. The book deserves every success, it is much cheaper than the larger and more expensive publications from the ISO (the International Organisation for Standardization. It's not just a book for science students, trivia and Scrabble buffs will enrich their vocabulary. Symbologists and symbolists can ponder over the character sizes there are hundreds of symbols to keep them happy. Sign writers need the book to help ensure that they do not produce 'inKorrect' symbols like 'Kg' Highly recommended.
