The golden, plastic shining star
That crowns our holly days tree

Or Christian myth.
It's a symbol of the solstice to me.
The miracle for which we wait
On each year's longest night
Involves one of the great mysteries of life.
The heaviest thing in the universe
The sun's the one we celebrate
Because it's heavy
