Author Joe Schaefer started his conversations with Steve Balderson (and the Balderson clan) back in 2003 with an interview for the now defunct Aftertaste Magazine. With each successive month and each successive development in the FIRECRACKER story, Schaefer thought, 'there's got to be a book here!" The end result is a book that lands steadily on the ground of Inspiration Avenue.
