At The Top of The Toboggan Hill was written to express to others what life is all about. Although there has been a lot of sadness in my life and those closest to me, there will come a time and place that someday people may be able to look at the experiences they have had and be thankful for them. Although pain, either emotional or physical, may hurt for sometime, it is our overall attitude and choice to change the negativity around us. Regardless of what had occurred in life, we do have the ability to change and accept what has occurred. I am blessed and thankful for all the people who are in my life and for those who are no longer a part of my life. I truly believe that the experiences I have had, have made me who I am today. I would not change a thing.

What a wonderful book of poems. We can see a little bit of our lives in this writers views of people in her life. We are all in there. She displays a zest for life and love of family that is amazing. Even the not so happy events appear to be a path to growth. Obviously the prior reviewer had a bad set of life experiences and needs to lash out. This author also has another book out prior to this one. Great for an afternoon of hot chocolate and solitude.

One of the MANY problems with phychologists is that they need counceling themselves. A healthy minds can put the past behind . The unhealthy mind clings to hate. There is no need to look over you shoulder. No one is there. You claim that this "book" is meant to explain to others the "meaning of life". It is a book about YOUR life. The world is not about YOU. There are a lot of us out here. Most of us are human with human qualities good and bad. I bought this out of curiousity. Again, quit looking over you shoulder. I am not there. What pain I caused you has been repaid many time over to the point that there are absolutly no feeling left at all. Your memories are clouded over by hate and are so very wrong. This book is so sad. Get help. No one should carry this much hate and call themselves healthy.
