The planet spun on its axis, a crazed mess of humanity swarming on its surface, breeding, dying, killing, loving, hating, creating and destroying in a frenzied chaos they called life. Each particle of the species pushed through the throng, chasing its individual goals. When it bumped into another it might help that one or just trample it down as it rushed hungrily and greedily towards what it wanted, oblivious to the destroyed mess of a life it had left trampled in the bloody pollution on the ground.

A few of the more insane ones sat still, not rushing around as much as the others, and yet they touched and destroyed more, by communication in the form of words and pictures or electronic impulses representing those things. They directed the churning masses to destroyed others and occasionally made a special message to reach out and ensure an individual life was crushed; an individual who had only strove to rise above the throng to gasp for a breath of fresh air, to clear his head and think. They sat in their board rooms, senates, mosques and universities, and reached out to guide the growing chaos. Insane, power hungry, greedy, leering expressions showed on their demonic faces. They were the demented, evil directors of the apocalypse of man.
