If the Office 2000 Windows environment is new to you, this hour briefly
covers some of the fundamentals you need to know to use Office 2000
Small Business Edition effectively. This hour does not give you an in-depth
Windows tutorial. Instead, it reviews the tasks and features that directly
relate to Office 2000.
Although the Windows interface has been around for awhile, many companies
are slow to upgrade from older Windows interfaces (such as Windows
for Workgroups 3.11) to Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows NT (the
required Office 2000 operating environments). Therefore, even if you have
used previous versions of Windows, you might need this hour's refresher so
that you can hit the ground running with Office 2000.
