Thank you for the quick response. I am very surprised my issue was resolved so quickly. Another ebook store gave me a hard time before (months of wait and still not resolved), which was why I started shopping at this web site.

The Delicate Balance: Federalism, Interstate Commerce and Economic Freedom in the Technological Age
Author Adam D. Thierer calls for a rediscovery and reinvigoration of the Founding Fathers? original model of American federalism. Thierer explores the friction between the often competing values of state and local autonomy, interstate commerce, and economic freedom in general in America?s federalism system. This book argues that these values can be balanced and preserved even within modern, high-technology industries that the Framers could not possibly have envisioned, such as the telecommunications sector, the electricity industry, and the financial services market. A framework is established to help policymakers to resolve ongoing disputes in these and other economic sectors. Thierer concludes that the Founding Fathers? original model of federalism can be applied to these jurisdictional disputes in such a way that both local self-government and the economic freedom of American companies and consumers are preserved and enhanced.

Why must I activate my Microsoft Reader?

Many publishers require powerful copy protection for their eBook titles. In order for you to be able to purchase and download eBook titles that have been secured for distribution, you first need to activate your Microsoft Reader. Just as a credit card typically must be activated by a bank before use, your Microsoft Reader needs to be activated before you can purchase and read eBooks packaged for secure distribution.

Does it matter which internet browser I use with Microsoft Reader?

Microsoft Reader requires Internet Explorer 4.01 or later be installed on the user's PC or laptop, but the user is not required to use Internet Explorer as his or her browser. (Netscape, for example, can be used as the browser and Microsoft Reader will continue to function normally.) Microsoft Reader takes advantage of some of the underlying components within IE during activation and provides the integrated bookstore directory.
