How To Write A "How-To" Book (or eBook) - Make Money Writing About Your Favorite, Hobby, Interest or Activity
How To Write A "How-To" Book (or eBook) sets the modern-day standard for how-to write "how-to" books, ebooks and info-products. It is based on the premise that anyone who has a hobby, interest or activity that they are knowledgeable and passionate about can easily create their own how-to book or ebook - no matter what the subject. In his tenth how-to book to-date, this author shares every detail of what he has learned in creating and writing his own how-to books over the past few years. He provides a step-by-step approach that will walk you through every aspect of producing a professional quality how-to book or ebook. The book contains specific examples, illustrations, and screen shots that explain exactly what you need to do -- in paint-by-number detail. It also stresses the importance these days of including resource and reference tie-ins with the Internet, if one's book is to be credible. It even includes a chapter on how you can easily extend and add value to your how-to book/ebook using readily-available, easy-to-use audio and video technology to create online tutorials and info-updates. The book itself is a real-life testament to the kind of how-to book that you too can create - no matter what your passion.

I have skimmed through many How-To books but this is the first one that I have taken seriously and read from beginning to end. It is like a "textual map" as it walks you through the how-to book creation and writing process, step-by-step. You should not have to look any further than this book for "hands-on" instructions on this subject. I especially liked the "learning points summary" that sets the stage for the remainder of the book. It then delves into each point summarized and walks you through every one from beginning to end; giving any prospective how-to writer all the tools they will ever need to write their book. This book has so much going for it I think it could easily be part of an MBA program. The author knows how to communicate directly with his readers in a warm and friendly way; there is no hype and nothing is taken for granted. He has put together a complete arsenal of "How-To" book writing material. After reading and working through this book, no one should ever suffer from writers block. In my opinion, this is a "How-To" masterpiece!
