When I heard the title of the book I was intrigued because the name says it all. I was pleasantly surprized by the how content was easy to read and apply in real life. I have learned so much about many topics and specifically benefited from the home ownership process. Although I had been a homeowner already I learned many new things that bettered my situation. I can't wait to put the rest of the book's information to use.

This book is what I have been waiting to find. It is unconventional in the writing style in that it speaks directly to the reader. I have learned abpout many personal finance topics and applied them in real life situations. I highly recommend this book.

Buying our First House was so much more than just a new address and a good school system. Finding the realtor, finding the house , Negotiating the purchase price AND finding a loan - Yikes! This book touches on everything that a 1st time home buyer should know or take into consideration. Half of the stuff we never even thought about, but we feel so much better about our situation, our budget and so much more. We enjoyed reading the Second half because it touched on so many other aspects focused on our overall monthly budget, and how to approach things. We look forward to our next purchase, and all in between that point.
