Music may be played on alto and tenor recorders; or on sopranino and either soprano or alto. The duets in Part One may be played on soprano and alto. The trios work well on three altos or a combination of alto and tenor recorders. Other instruments such as mandolin, violin, flute, and psaltery may play these duets.
