STANDING IN GOD?S LIGHT: IN END TIMES (978-1-892264-19-0) Ann Druffel and Armand's Marcotte's new book, Standing in God's Light: In End Times(Timeless Voyager Press, 2006), addresses complex issues and alarming events in human society. In this book, the third Druffel and Marcotte wrote together, the predictions concerning End Times as perceived by Marcotte "the famous clairvoyant widely known for his decades-long work with detectives in solving stubborn murder cases, as well as for his early fame of being John Wayne's psychic" are presented together with extensive, objective research by Druffel, which confirms that Marcotte's intuitive impressions that the "end of days" might well be near. Marcotte had no doubt that End Times were coming when he received his intuitive knowledge in the 1990s. In nine readings before his death in 1999, he predicted that in 2000 the last chance for tranquility would occur, and that in 2002, the end of days would begin with a final war between Good vs. Evil, as described in the Judeo-Christian Bible and by numerous other visionaries throughout the centuries. Standing in God's Light: In End Times, does not, however, predict a hopeless situation, as Marcotte's readings and subsequent interviews between the authors addressed specific ways how human beings could fend off, or fight, the chaos of these times and be among those who will survive to live in a peaceful, evolved world. Standing in God's Light: In End Times examines the relationship between uncontrolled immigration, both legal and illegal, to the present-day Tower of Babel which is fueling the destruction of world cultures. It describes the Vatican's failure to recognize what actions it could take to actually bring about peace in the world. It also hypothesizes who or what the Biblical Anti-Christ might be, as well as considers an interdimensional form of creation that is apparently influencing radical Islamic terrorists to perform their evil deeds. Standing in God's Light: In End Times is presented in three parts: Part I : Introduction to Armand Marcotte Part II: The Approach and Ravages of End Times Part III: How Individuals Can Interpret and Prepare for End Times Druffel, a lifelong, traditional, practicing Catholic, also reaches out beyond Catholicism, as permitted by Church authorities. She is an objective, scientifically-oriented researcher of world mysteries, including psychic phenomena, sacred sites, ley lines, paranormal photographs, and UFO phenomena, while maintaining her Catholic beliefs and practices. Well-known and respected for her many significant contributions in the psychic and UFO research fields, Druffel has written over 200 articles for research journals and magazines. The book essentially contains one chapter of substance from the psychic Armand Marcotte. The rest of the book contains the musing of an old woman worried about Catholic conspiracy theories, immigration, and other things. Ann essentially repeats and comments on numerous scuttle-butt themes running rampant on the internet: Vatican Cardinals suppressing the Pope from fulfilling the Blessed Mother's request at Fatima. Ann ignores the fact that the last surviving Fatima visionary, Sister Lucia, clearly stated the March 25, 1984 consecration was accepted by Our Lady. Interestingly the Soviet Union collapses five years later without a major war! Sister Lucia stated the 1984 Consecration prevented a nuclear war. I'll trust Sister Lucia rather than internet scuttle-butt. Ann also exhibits the anti-immigrant attitudes rampant in California and elsewhere. Yet she is Catholic and overlooks the fact that most Latin American immigrants are Catholic and a whole bunch of them go to Mass! I stopped reading the book because it was filled with too much non-sense. If you really want to help the planet and the population prepare for the changes ahead, start your day by praying a Rosary and finish it with a Chaplet of Divine Mercy, even if you are not Catholic-it certainly couldn't hurt...
