I read some of the other brotherhood books before this one and this one is a worthy 4 stars the others get the full 5. Good opening to the series but definitley read the others, they are amazing!

a little disappointing but still worth a read. The other brotherhood books are so so so so good and this one isnt really up to their standards but nevertheless there is still the witty dialogue, good storyline and great romance characteristic of JR Ward (its just not as strong as in the other books)worth reading to keep track of what the characters are doing ready for the next one to be released.

I read the books out of order--I started with number 3--which is still my favorite. This is a good read, fast read, but sets the series up very, very well. Nice way to spend a rainy Saturday!

I picked up this book and didn't put it down until the next morning. So don't start this on a workday. J.R. Ward has managed to create a completely NEW VAMPIRE. The characters were so real and believable. If Ward's name is on it I will get it.

This is the beginning of the series that has set my reading world on fire. Filled with action, passion and supernatural intrigue, I was hungry for this series before the end of the third chapter. There is nothing dark about the light in the fiction world that this book represents. Buy two of these books: One for yourself and one for your best friend so that you don't have to love these alone.
