History tells us that Nero fiddled as Rome burned. The author of this book vividly describes today's Romans as burning while they fiddle. But their fiddling takes the shape of sexual deviations which are, to say the least, most erotic!

The ancient ruins of the Coliseum, situated in the heart of the city of Rome, is the meeting place for a Cult which worships the penis. Their costume consists of sandals, a flowing white robe with nothing underneath it but naked flesh -- and a Silver Chain to which is attached their love-symbol: The Silver Phallus, a metal penis about eight inches long.

The author has taken this Cult through a series of exotic events which includes flagellation, incest, torture, orgies, domination, perversion -- yet is able to treat them all with an understanding and insight which makes the book, one to compel you to read it through with mixed emotions.
