	Sad Attempt at a Plot Line 09/13/2009

Until now, I've been recommending Frost's Night Huntress books to everyone I know who reads this genre. Not anymore, because I was so disappointed with this book. As other readers have said...just when you think Cat and Bones will finally be at peace, have a chance at happliy ever after...the author goes and creates an absolutely implausible, b/s backstory for us to swallow. Spoilers follow! Are we really supposed to believe that Cat was kidnapped at age 16 by a vampire named Gregor who snatches people's corporal bodies in a dream state? And we're supposed to believe the reason(s) he did so? And Mencheres buried her memories? And Gregor is more powerful than Bones? And Kat married him? Whatever. I just can't believe that there was no way to go forward with the story. What also surprises me is that other readers are recommending this story. It's like a pornographic New Moon. Bones and Cat fight, he leaves, she mopes and acts stupid. They physically fight and have lots of sex. Cat is also the new Anita, gaining powers left and right. I wish Ms. Frost would quit reading her coworker's books and get back to her own original, inventive imagination; if she can't, she's going to kill this series.

I have read all of the night huntress novels and this one does not disappoint. Destined For An Early Grave was a very enjoyable and fun read. Those who are fans of this series will be very happy with the results especially that of Cat and how she resolves her issues with her vampire heritage and her feelings for Bones.

Just when you think Cat and Bones have sorted their problems, you get this fantastic roller coaster ride as Cat and Bones finally try to create a viable relationship, despite all their hang ups. Throw in a surprising evil nemesis, and you have 284 pages of nothing but heart stopping romance, angst and good old-fashioned undead violence.

I love the Night Huntress series and it rates right up there with the Sookie Stackhouse series, well above the Twilight series. I can't wait for book five to come out! Cat & Bones are amazing!

I'm not into reading about the same girl over and over, but I read the first book in this series and was hooked! Cat and Bones are awesome. You will LOVE every book in this series!
