With this first book of "The Black Cobra Quartet" Stephanie Laurens has written an absolute winner! The story is captivating, fastpaced and well... hot! The strong heroine and the even stronger hero are irrisistible. Once you start reading, you wont be able to put it down. Can't wait 'till the next volume in the series!

This book is the first one of a new series from Stephanie Laurens. Although the main characters are new ones, the Cynsters and the Bastion Club appear in force to help apprehend a new villain... I have found the first chapters quite tame compared with other books from Stephanie Laurens, but after that, the rhythm changes and the book ends up being quite interesting. I don't know if I am going to like this series as much as the other two, but I'm willing to reserve judgment until next book.
