Peter Ramsey saw the traffic controller step out onto the pedestrian crossing, brandishing her stop sign, and slowed his car to a halt. A tribe of preschool children, kept in check by a couple of adults, were lined up on the sidewalk, waiting for it to be safe before heading over to the park on the other side of the road. I like this book but was a little disappointed when it skipped the months of Erin's pregnancy. I would've been interested in knowing what Erin and Peter had been feeling during these months. I think that the book felt a little incomplete without seeing the change in Peter that made him want her in the end.

This book wasn't really what I was expecting but it was still a fairly good read. The description given isn't at all informative as to what the book is really about, for example Erin isn't a teacher, she's a famous children's author. The book was a little unrealistic and it took a little too long for the action to pick up but all in all it was a decent read.
