I’m a big fan of this author, but I’ve had a few disappointments with some of her stories. Not this one, it’s one of her best, and one of the best Harlequin Presents I’ve read.

I wetn off Lucy's presents books for a while as they seemed a little lacklustre. But this book was great. The hero struggling to keep a promise to his dead wife, and the heroine trying to deal with her love for a man that doesn't seem to want to be a part of her life other than sexually

Storyline: a widow and a widower have been having an affair for a year, not wanting to commit into the relationship. Everything changes when the heroine discovers she's pregnant. A very enjoyable read: well paced, fleshed out characters, no ridiculous misunderstanding or questionning from the protagonists. recommended.
