Having read other Diana Palmer books, this one was disappointing at best. The story's climax was very flat and the ending came too soon with no buildup. The characters were not very sympathetic or likable. The female character was subservient and just not believable. The main male character was a jerk. There were also too many characters who were mentioned that did not have enough explanation to make the story complet

If you love strong, commanding men, you will love this book, but at the end Violet will show him the route to love. He expects Violet at his feet but to his surprised she is more challenging than he thought.
