This is the last book in the Mackenzie series and although the family doesn't come back together until the end, it was a good read. Although it was not as good as the others and no way a favorite, it was average. Read it only if you've read the other ones and want to complete the series, other than that it's not really worth it.

Mackenzies Magic was pleasant though shorter than Linda's other novels and never developed the same depth or intensity, nor the same level of character development in its heroine. A little too lightweight!
