Just when you think that things could not get worse, the tension, both professional and personal between the Garrison and Jefferies clan just got more interesting. I found Brooke and Jordan to be engaging characters dealing with the situation as best as they can within an overprotective familial environment. At times, I might have argued that Brooke was a bit stubborn, but I was drawn to the storyline and couldn't drop the book.
