Atlantis

Upon awakening, Valerian, King of the Nymphs, untangled himself from the naked, slumbering woman beside him, only to discover his legs were entwined with two other naked, slumbering women.

With a sleep-rough chuckle, he fell back onto the softness of the bed, dark strands of feminine hair cascading atop his shoulder. Silky red tendrils floated over his stomach, intertwining prettily with another woman's blond tresses. Satisfaction hummed inside him.

There were only four females in residence, and all four were deliciously human. Utterly sexual. Captivating. A few weeks ago, right after his army had taken control of this fortress, the women had accidentally entered through a portal leading from the surface world. 	A lot of sex and romance 10/17/2009

All in all the book is about sex and romance. Which is to be expected since the it is about nymphs. A nymph king and his soldiers are out looking for some women so they can have sex and become stronger. The story itself is a bit strange and it really is a book only about sex and love. I never actually read the ending because I finally lost interest.

After having read the heart of the dragon it made me search for other books in this series and I was more that happy with what I found. This book was very steamy and quite ironic considering the nymph king had such a hard time getting and keeping his woman.

This book has gotten some bad reviews so I was a little wary. but I enjoy the author so I gave it a chance. it was delightful. the main characters give and take kept me smiling. the supporting characters were well formed and thought out. overall I can't wait to read the other books in the series.
