I love the short stories, but I bought some of the individually from diesel ebooks. The Patricia Briggs and Karen Chance short stories are available for individual sale from diesel. The Patricia Briggs one is a prequel to her book Cry Wolf and the Karen Chance one is a side story that follows Midnight's Daughter. I would highly recommend both.

This book contains 4 anthologies by Patricia. Briggs, Eileen Wilks, Karen Chance and Sunny. The first 3 were great, but the last one disappointed me, it contained more sex than a good plot. The first story by Patricia Briggs is about Anna, she is an Omega werewolf, whose introduction to the werewolf world has been through several years of hell. Witnessing something that she's knows she's not supposed to, Anna places a call to a higher lupine authority. Charles, an enforcer gets dispatched to her to investigate the problems in her area. The second story by Eileen Wilks is about Nathan and Kai. Kai has a special ability to sense people's feelings, but not by normal means. She sees something that is similar to but not exactly the same as auras and through these she hears and feels what other people are going through. She knows there is something very mysterious about her neighbor Nathan, though even her gifts can't help her figure out what that is. When someone or something goes on a murderous rampage, witnesses claim it is Kai committing the crimes. The third story by Karen Chance is about Claire, a null, who'd like a divorce from her family, but they try to sell her instead. She escapes the auction house with a Lord of the Fey and discovers her true identity. A fast paced story with a surpricing twist. The last story by Sunny was not stand alone, so I was completely baffled by the world and characters. I couldn't quite comprehend what was going on because I haven't read Sunny's other novels, so I can’t really comment on this anthology.

I've only read Patricia Briggs' story on this collection. On the strength of that alone, I'll give it 4 stars. Good story. Good characters, well written.
