This is actually the first book I read in the Drake Sisters series. But because this book was well written, as of today, I have read two of the other books in this series. I am a huge fan of Feehan, due to her Paranormal books of the "Game" series, but the Drake Sisters series is really good. Especially this edition. There is great chemistry between Joley an Ilya. And because Ilya's character is naturally dominant, but in a mysterious and intelligent manner, his character sets the tone of the book: intricate and eventful. The complexity of the paranormal elements makes it believable about the capabilities and constraints of every character. Definitely a good read!

Great Read for anyone who enjoys stories about supernatural and military mix. This story had be guessing the whole way through, and usually I guess "Who Dunnit" half way through, but Feehan got me again. I will probably read it again at least next month.

I wait with great anticipation for each of Christine Feehans books to come out. The Drake Sisters series is by far my favorite. The intensity of the relationship between the two main characters is hotter than the previous books in this series. Ms. Feehan as always includes good characterizations and really enjoyable support characters. The story line was well done.

I love Ms Feehan's books. It is full of the magic the love of a family can create. No one person is as strong as the collective. Enjoy this book, but be prepared that you will want to read all the books in the series.
