Arrows of the Queen is the first in its series. Talia, a girl from the borderlands where ignorance and chauvinism is rampant is plunged headlong into a literally cut-throat royal court. Worse, she has been assigned an important position; one which courtiers would kill to possess. Rife with magic, intrigue and friendship, Lackey delivers her typical excellent book.
