Chapter One Captain K'Vada watched as Klag's face faded from the small viewscreen. He then removed the Order of the
Bat'leth medallion from his workstation, and was about to put it back in the drawer from which he'd retrieved it only a few minutes before. Just before he did, he hesitated, then decided to put the medallion at its proper place on his shoulder.
