If you notice any site errors or have an idea for our eBook store, we'd love to hear it no matter how small.

We recommend you download one of our test eBooks to make sure you have the right settings on your computer.

For the most part, you'll find the same ebooks at each virtual online ebook store, just differences in price. Happily, I found the Diesel eBook download store to be the exception to the rule. Not only did they have most of the titles I've found at other sites online, they had a nice selection I hadn't seen anywhere else, in particular, the complete collection of original Sherlock Holmes novels all in one compendium, and in Palm eReader format, just how I like.

StarCraft: Dark Templar: Twilight
Archeologist Jacob Ramsey has spent much of the last two years on a miserable backwater planet wasting his time on a fruitless excavation. It seems like a miracle when he gets a message from Augustine Mengsk himself, son and heir of Emperor Arcturus Mengsk, inviting him to join an elite group of archeologists being sent to excavate one of the Xel'Naga artifacts that are suddenly appappearing on various worlds. When Jake stumbles across a dying Protoss and attempts to revive him, the Protoss psychically bonds to him and begins to violently "upload” its memories. In order to do this, the Protoss must in essence rewrite and rewire Jake's human brain.Jake soon realizes that the Protoss has shared with him a terrible secret--one so important that the dying alien was willing to pass it on to an enemy in order to insure that the knowledge survives. And what Jake decides to do with the information will seal the fate of worlds throughout the galaxy.

StarCraft: Dark Templar: Twilight

CHAPTER 1

We must go, Rosemary.

Rosemary Dahl's head whipped up at Zamara's voice speaking in her brain. She didn't think she'd ever get truly comfortable with such a method of communication, but after the last several minutes, when she and the protoss inside Jake's mind had worked together to repair the damaged warp gate, she was getting used to it. She fired one last time at the zerg, swarming far too close for comfort, even though their target was elsewhere, and let her gaze linger for just a second on the glowing darkness that was lumbering toward them.

They'd come here because of Zamara, the...spirit, Rosemary guessed was the best word, of a dead protoss preserver who housed every memory every protoss had ever had. And among those memories was something so important that Zamara had been determined to find a way to continue on after death -- to share those memories with one Jacob Jefferson Ramsey, archaeologist, who was now possibly going to die because of those memories. Zamara had brought them here to locate a fragment of an extremely pure and powerful crystal, thinking to s ... read full excerpt from: StarCraft: Dark Templar: Twilight ebook
