Really Unusual Bad Boys
From the wildly talented MaryJanice Davidson comes a trio of outrageously passionate stories that take bliss to new, unusual heights. BRIDEFIGHT One minute, Detective Lois Commoner is popping pain pills for her bum knee; the next, she's in a strange land with a magically delicious naked man named Prince Damon. Questions? Maybe one or two. MATING SEASON When Lt. Anne Sanger joined the W.A.C.s to see the world and meet someone, she meant Europe and nice Boise farm boy-not a feral, well-built, rakish man in a bathtub claiming he has wished her to be his mate. GROOMFIGHT Rica Callanbra is used to odd things happening, but sweet, godlike hunky men falling from the sky? She'll take him! Talk about heaven on earth.

Chapter One

Minneapolis, Minnesota

I wish I were dead.

It was 1:08 A.M. on the morning of September 17, and Lois Commoner was thinking thoughts that for her, of late, were typical.

As she was lying on the alley pavement, listening to the victim's broken sobbing, she thought, Would I go to hell? No chance. This is hell. There's gotta be something else. And if there isn't, what do I have to lose?

She banished such thoughts-now was not the time-and rolled over onto her stomach. She took a deep breath, put her palms flat on the filthy street, and pushed herself up until she was standing. This took six minutes and was just short of excruciating. Her knee was screaming. Her back had a kink in it. Her knuckles were bleeding. And she had a splitting headache. The headache bothered her more than anything else.

"I don't suppose you have any Advil in your pockets?" she asked ... read full excerpt from: Really Unusual Bad Boys ebook

The three stories of three brothers was okay in sections. Predictable in others. The boys are really that unusual considering the genre of the book. But the descriptions in the book are interesting if nothing else.

This book had me laughing from the title of story #1, Bridefight. Super funny, great characters & story development for short stories, with sparkling & hilarious dialogue. Liked it a lot!

Loved this book, great short stories. With a cohesive theme of three brothers looking for a "mate". So each brother story run's on from the last. As usual from Mary Janice Davidson strong female characters that aren't walk-overs. Certainly hotter than her normal writting with the boys being bad in the best possible way!

Though the title of the book is "Really Unusual Bad Boys," the guys in question are just shapeshifters, and not really "bad boys." The women in the stories sorta make up for it. (Frankly, the women are more fleshed out than the men) The summary provided doesn't give enough information.

This book was funny in the right places, and steamy in others. M.J. Davidson did an excellent job with this book. I highly reccommend it. (It made me miss my own boyfriend. wink. wink) =)
