Chapter One

It was hard to think about death at a wedding.

Yet he was managing it pretty well.

And it wasn't because he was bored or the bride didn't look beautiful or the venue wasn't amazing. It was because of that damn call.

One call and his mind was filled with images of death. His death. But it wasn't every day a man got a call that informed him there was a two-million-dollar bounty on his head. All that money for his big lion head.

He should be wallowing in depression. He should be having one of his panic attacks when he couldn't breathe or see straight. He should be doing what any normal human being-normal being relative since he could shift from human to feline in about thirty seconds or so-would be doing when finding out someone wanted him or her dead so badly.

But he couldn't be depressed, he couldn't panic. Not now. Not with that staring him in the face.

This books was not as good as the others in this series. I for some reason felt that it was a bit to wordy and I felt myself saying "lets just get on with it". Having said that if you liked her other books I would not skip this one. The sex was still hot hot hot. I think you will like it!

Sissy Mae is your average "Alpha" girl who isn't looking to settle down. She has that take attitude that means she can fight, drink and sass her way out of any situation. It was nice to see that male lead is in the role of the 'damsel in distress'. Still classic Shelly Laurenston, so if you liked her other stuff I suggest you read this one too.

The first book I read from this author but I will be reading her others as well. I didnt know when I started this book that it was a series, but Im reading them in order now! Can't wait to see what I've missed!

This book was great. I loved Sissy's story and I LOVE MITCH. This book had smaller parts for all of the characters in Shelly Laurenston's previous books. Bobby Rae, Jessie Ann, Mack, Dee, Ronnie Lee and Brendon. Even Sissy's parents were mentioned and they all contributed to a different aspect of the book making it GREAT.
