I must say the cover of this book was veeery enticing and was anticipating a hot steamy read. However as I read the book I was disappointed with the romance (or lack thereof) in this book. The book lacked a depth of emotion and coupled with the sex scenes that were bizarre to say the least I came away feeling abit let down. The end of the book - though I did get the feeling the couple had built an understanding for each other and a somewhat twisted love the fact that he then shared her with his brothers.... eeeeww!! Now I am not a prude (well I would hope not) but the undertones of incest, rape and infidelity really didn't sit well with me. This one definitely didn't hit the mark for an erotic romance.... romance being the stressed word here.

Well written. The characters were very engaging, even if the hero's attitude tended to annoy me at times. Basing the story around satyrs and faeries also made it stand out from the usual fantasy fair. Very hot and definitely worth a read!

This is a very powerfull story. In the Lords of Satyr we come across a world of fantasy, of beings another realm that must protect the gate between our world and theirs. Their king, at his dying moment, gave them an order to find and marry 3 of his daughters he had with human woman. A plot that is very interesting, but the contents within this book, makes us want to keep it on ice has it's very, very hot. The sex scenes are very graffic and very detailed, and to me I could almost see it happening in front of my eyes. These scenes also demand the most of a woman's body, and if you don't like sex scenes that involve anything out of the ordinary... this is not for you... But to those that like to be surprised and taken to the limit.. It's a good read.

Unlike the earlier reviewer - I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The main premise upon which the book finds its foundation - the mystic history of the brothers as well as their amazing physical differences is unique(I wont spoil it for you ladies but my jaw dropped at that point!) For a debut book it is very well written and certainly has made me want to read all about the other brothers (this book is part of a trilogy but can be read as a stand alone). The only word of caution I have is that - particularly with a scene towards the end when all three brothers take turns being 'with' the heroine - this book is not for the 'vanilla' minded when it comes to romance. This is an erotic fanatasy book and should be read as such!
