FBI agent Gavin Lebowitz has stumbled onto Wendy's past, and while he is hunting for her, other agents are searching Odessa for the "mad dog killer." Complicating matters are the unstable emotions of Wendy and her enigmatic twin Jamie. Every body and every battle are taking their toll on the sanity of both children, and Jobe must somehow become not only a detective, but also a foster parent. With the odds stacked against them, Jobe and Jamie both are ready to leave the city before it's too late, but Wendy has become obsessed with getting revenge. A four way race has begun to determine who will capture the killer first, and it ends in an explosive battle with all sides joining in the fray. Only one side will claim victory.
