His hand came out and gently stroked the side of her face. Chenoa felt her eyes close as the pure pleasure of the touch captured her entire attention. His skin was hot too. His touch seemed to soothe her overheated face. The way his hand smelled was distantly aggressive. Every part of his body radiated his presence to her. Her eyes snapped open as her brain registered the amount of strength his scent seemed to declare.

Chenoa stepped back and shifted as her balance wavered. "You should not touch me." Her voice lacked any conviction. It was a mere whisper because Chenoa liked his touch. The promise he seemed to be declaring was attractive. It awakened a yearning deep inside her belly that twisted tighter with each new sensation.

"Why not, Chenoa?"

"Such touches are not meant to be displayed."

She was too hot with his eyes on her. The heat became worse as it spread to her body and down into her abdomen. A tiny pulse began throbbing in her center.

His huge hand wrapped around her wrist. The grip was solid yet only firm. He turned on a heel and took her with him. Chenoa found her feet hurrying to keep pace with his long legs.
