I thought this bundle was great. It's nice to know how everything works out, for all the Mackenzie clan, although I was a little disappointed with Maris' story it was a little bit thin, but still a great short story I suppose.

I would recommend this bundle to every romance reader and fan. This is a fantastic collection of some of Linda Howards most heart-warming and humourous stories. The reading order in this bundle is wrong; the stories should be read in this order: 1)Mackenzie's Mountain, 2)Mackenzie's Mission, 3)Mackenzie's Pleasure, 4)Mackenzie's Magic and 5)A Game of Chance. Mackenzie's Mountain - When spinster schoolteacher Mary Elizabeth Potter confronts Wolf Mackenzie in order to get Wolf's son back in school, she comes face to face with a bitter and dangerously attractive man still paying for a crime he did not commit. Mackenzie’s Mission - Night Wing was Colonel Joe "Breed" Mackenzie's number-one priority. And weapons expert Caroline Evans was his number-one distraction. Mackenzie’s Pleasure - Barrie Lovejoy needed a saviour. The terrorist group holding her hostage surely wouldn't tolerate her silence much longer. Then out of the darkness Navy SEAL Zane Mackenzie arrived and led Barrie from her captors straight into his sheltering arms. Mackenzie’s Magic - She wakes up to find a sexy stranger in her bed. Maris not only doesn't remember Alex MacNeil, she doesn't remember the previous day or the prize Thoroughbred she's apparently stolen. A Game Of Chance - Undercover agent Chance Mackenzie knew that the best way to capture an elusive terrorist was to use the man's daughter as bait, so he cleverly seduced Sunny Miller and set out to discover her father's whereabouts. However, Chance soon realized that Sunny wasn't running from him-she was running for her life, and she needed Chance's protection. But keeping Sunny safe would involve telling her the truth-about his mission and what she'd done to his heart.

The stories of the men of the family were better written than the only female of the family. All the stories were great, fast paced. I could not stop reading.

I love most of Linda Howard's books and especially these. The Mackenzie Men are just too die for. My only criticism is that they are possibly a little formulaic.

I love this family. I first read these books as a teenager and fell in love with them. The entire set is hard to find so I was thrilled to find it here. The men are the strong quiet type and their women are their perfect matches. These books are great not just for the romantic relationships but also for the family dynamics as a whole. But I have to admit, that little Nicki steals the show and has always been my favorite character. I have always wished Ms. Howard would one day write her story. I will keep wishing. Read these books and fall in love with the Mackenzies too.
