This was a great start to the LOTU series by Ms. Showalter. Kept me reading and reading. Straight up discovery of the origins of Pandora's Box and the demons within. Was so impressed at the feelings and passion of the guardian who was more monster than man toward the beautiful goddess of oppression. Their devotion to each other saved them. I give it 5 stars especially since this was my first e-book.

This book is really, quite interesting in explaining how the whole series comes about. The only negative being that it is much too short to satisfy the reader. It does leave you wishing that showalter would go into more description into the charactrers, but overall a good read!

This book was an ok way to start the series. I read this one last and after reading the others the action in this just wasn't what I had expected. There was no adventure and the love story was ok, it was good but not great.

This was another book that I totally loved to read and could not put down. I had a hard time putting it aside since I am going to school and had to do my homework first. So my plan was to study during the day, finish my work, go to work then when I come home from work I would read however many chapters my tired eyes would allow me. Which is why I couldn't wait for the weekends since I could finish one book a night. Would totally recommend this book to family, friends and other readers.
