A fantastic bundle of stories from the vivid and creative mind of Gena Showalter. The Stone Prince - A story that will make you laugh out loud. Katie (a self-assured and modern woman) releases Jorlan (a male chauvinistic alien warrior) who has been magically transformed into a statue by his jealous brother. Sparks fly and passion ignites in this unique and wacky fantasy romance. The Pleasure Slave - The sequel to The Stone Prince, Julia Anderson purchases an antique jewelry box with her very own love slave inside. Tristan, who is from another world, has been cursed by a former lover and is destined to remain a love slave until he finds true love. A humourous and delightful read by a very talented author. Heart Of The Dragon - The first book in the Atlantis series. While running for her life through the Amazon jungle, Grace Carlyle accidently finds herself running through a portal that leads to another world. She soon discovers that Atlantis is more than just a myth. Plus, it's inhabited by shape-shifting dragons. Darius en Kragin is the leader of this people and the Guardian of this particular portal. His duty is to kill any traveler who comes through the gate, a duty that he has never failed at, until he sees Grace. A fun but serious tale that puts a unque spin on the Atlantis Myth.

It's not too bad... They're simple, somewhat fun, cute, and cliched. If you're looking for an easy read filled with sterotypes with overdone themes... these are the books for you.

Gena Showalter's books are all very entertaining and generally well written, but my only complaint is that the storylines of all the works that I've read (this bundle + the Nymph King) have been extremely similar. All involve an early 20's, not traditionally attractive virgin girl meeting some sort of new, strange, ridiculously good looking male feeling desire for each other...trying to combat this desire...and then eventually realizing their love. She even uses some of the same lines in her books. Read with enough time in between, I'm sure no one would really notice this, but since I read them all together (it is a bundle...) it was really obvious. Don't get me wrong though, the writing was fairly good (though the dialogue was generally way too formal for everyday conversation) and the stories were all definitely entertaining. I recommend this bundle if you're looking for a quick, romantic, funny read, but you should consider reading something else in between each story.
