Chapter One

God, he was getting pathetic. He caught her scent as soon as she walked into the club and his entire body tightened in lust. What was happening? Zach Sheridan didn't get all bunged up over women. Ever. It was not in his nature. There were only two women he took special interest in protecting or caring about and one he called "Mom" the other he called "shithead" or "baby sis".

Sara didn't notice him, but that didn't surprise him. That grandmother of hers made sure Sara was completely oblivious to the power buried inside that sweet body.

She sat at the bar knocking back a beer in a worn leather biker jacket three times too big for her. Clearly a man's jacket. Zach's eyes narrowed when he allowed himself to wonder if that jacket belonged to some asshole. Some asshole other than him, that is. He didn't like the thought. Even as he fought it, he didn't like to think for a second Sara might be getting down and as dirty as he'd been daydreaming about lately with some scumbag. Some scumbag other than him, that is.

Unfortunately I read this trilogy last to first, but these three dysfunctional girls are the most awesome heroines I've come across in all my reading. Zack and Sarah's story is a great read for all of us overlooked beauties.

I liked the book and the story. The sex scenes overran the book and I had to skim through a lot of them. It seemed like the author took the same sex scene and just cut and pasted it in a bunch of times. It didn't move the story forward. But still I would probably read more of her books because there were definitely some good plot and character moments.

This is the first book of Laureston that I have read and I have to say I loved it! What I loved best is the dialog between the three main female characters. I laughed out loud all through the book with their snide comments and quirky come backs. Laureston has a wonderful way of keeping a reader engrossed in the plot and character development so that you never want to put the book down.

So glad I found Shelly Laurenston! I had really been trying to find something to read. I felt like I had read everything in the vampire or shirt erotica/romance genre but I stumbled upon these books and they do not disspoint!!!
