Two Sighted

Chapter One

Bright light from the full moon glinted off the stainless-steel appliances in the immaculate kitchen. A scream echoed through the large space, drowning out the grunts and moans coming from the two men fighting near the center, arms locked in a combative embrace. The sickening thud of flesh on flesh was followed by a spurt of blood that showered the island countertop. The man dressed in black from head to toe took advantage, flinging them both to the ground with a bone-jarring crunch. He rolled, kneeling above the other man, who was wearing only boxers. With a snick, the man in black flicked open a switchblade. He swung it in an arc above his head, catching the moonlight, making the metal glow. The knife slashed through the air into the bare chest of the man below and another scream pierced the kitchen's confines.

"Yoo-hoo."

Aislinn Campbell sucked in a breath and shook her head, trying to ward off the last vestiges of the vision plaguing her yet again.

This book didn't have the average plot for romance novels with the characters coming together, having a misunderstanding, breaking up and then coming together at the end. It's a story of two people appreciating each other, loving and fighting together against the outside forces trying to break them up. Get this book and be prepared to be charmed.

How does she tell her boss that she's seen his death? How does he convince her that he's nothing like her ex? Very good short story. Recommend buy this as part of the bundle.

Two Sighted is a delightful read with a fun array of characters, witty conversations, sexual innuendos, and enough suspense to keep you riveted to the pages. I loved the intensity of the relationship between Kyle and Aislinn. She effortlessly sets the stage for a sequel starring several of the supporting leaving her fans aching for it without leaving this book feeling unfinished in any way. I know I will be hungrily snapping up any new releases both in this series and from this author! We enter this story as the main heroine has fled an abusive marriage and has been working for her stud muffin boss for six months. Although initially shy and ready to bolt, she is coaxed into revealing her attraction for him and details of her past - including her ability to see the future. The ensuing story is how she comes to terms with another relationship and her past. This title has just the right balance of believable entertainment - after all, if she can see into the future, why couldn't she see what an idiot her husband was? - and after all, this ain't Shakespeare. It is a good escapist book, designed (and succeeding) in ensuring the reader is aware there are good men out there despite the idiots!

Had a difficult time buying into the storyline. Also, didn't feel that there was enough tension buildup prior to the love scenes. Scenes themselves were great though. Overall a decent quick read.
