My Fair Captain

Chapter One

Aiden stared out over the crowd of military uniforms, his fingers itching to draw. The ball was being held in honor of veterans and most men in attendance were Regelence Naval officers. There were also a few Regelence Marines and three or four IN officers, including Nate.

Aiden hadn't realized Nate was attending in the capacity of an IN officer, but before leaving the castle Cony had informed them Father and Nate had gone to the ball early for The Fallen Warriors ceremony. Since then, Aiden had been dying to see Nate in uniform.

All day Aiden's mind played over the scene this afternoon and Nate's flirting with him. He didn't quite know what to make of it, but he was excited nonetheless.

"Lord Aiden, how are you this evening?"

Aiden turned to find the Duke of Keithman's second son, Christian Morris, standing next to him, all decked out in his black and silver dress uniform. Aiden bowed. "Lieutenant Commander Lord Christian."

This book very well written. The plot is excellent, the heroes to die for, and the sex is ohmygod! You can't le the book down until you've finished reading it. Definitely a keeper. I hope the author will write the story of Trouble and Rexley!!! I can't wait!

My Fair Captain is a definite must read. It grips you from the beginning and doesn't let go until the very end. The characters are well thought out and the chemistry between them is amazing. It's an all around great read and if you're a historical romance lover like me,than you'll love this book.

WHEN I STARTED READING THIS BOOK I HONESTLY DIDN'T STOP UNTIL IT WAS FINISH. NATE AND AIDEN HAD ME SPELL BOUND IN THEIR LOVE AFFAIR. I JUST LOVE EVERY THING ABOUT THIS BOOK.

I enjoyed this title for its overall science fiction story and very memorable erotic scenes. While the main characters were written well, space captain falls in love with space prince, they were a bit predictable. There were some very interesting suspenseful scenes in the book. Most notably a scene where one of the main characters "spy's" on the other with some interesting 'results,' there are other scenes that seem forced and a bit rushed like the surprise ending regarding the captain's son. The story was good, with some areas of improvement. I enjoyed the ending that implies a second book to come. I look forward to reading more about the Captain and the Prince. Overall the characters were intriguing and the love scenes were exciting. I would recommend this book for erotica/science fiction readers.

J.L. Langley is a true master of her genre. This book definitely lives up to the author's previous work, and it a definite intriguing page turner of a novel. Right from the get go, you're drawn into this web of intrigue, lust, power and love. The most ingenious backdrop, the stunning limitations placed upon the characters, and the wonderful weaving of the storylines all come together to take the reader on an exceptional ride. And I for one cannot wait for the sequel, which her website says should be out later this year!
