Thank you for the quick response. I am very surprised my issue was resolved so quickly. Another ebook store gave me a hard time before (months of wait and still not resolved), which was why I started shopping at this web site.

Ask Adam
Can one wild night of passion turn into the romance of a lifetime? Lexi Tanner's got a major problem: AJ Riley, the man she's about to approach for a hefty donation, turns out to be the stranger she shared a night of steamy sex with less than a week past. She'll do anything to raise money for a children's charity-anything except sell herself. Now how can she ask AJ for money without it seeming like he's paying for sexual favors? If there's one thing the past has taught Adam "AJ" Riley, it's that loving someone can only lead to pain. He knows he shouldn't feel so attracted to Lexi, and he definitely shouldn't trust a woman who'd sleep with a man one week and approach him for money the next. Yet somehow Lexi breaks through all his barriers. His instincts tell him to run but his heart wants to give Lexi-and love-a second chance. How can he let go of his tragic past and still protect his battered heart? Warning, this title contains the following: steamy sex, graphic language and red-hot romance. Ask Adam

Chapter One

Inhale.

Her lungs constricted and oxygen couldn't fill them fast enough. The blood drained from her face, her stomach dropped into her knees and she gripped the arms of the chair so tight her knuckles went into spasm.

Oh. Dear. God.

"Fine, make it Tuesday." Fine. Let's do it.

Miniscule bumps shivered up her neck. It wasn't possible.

"Good. See you then." He swiveled his chair around and hung up.

Bizarrely, her first thought upon seeing his face was that AJ Riley didn't have a moustache after all. Or glasses, for that matter.

Unmistakable ice-blue eyes appraised her. "Miss Tanner, I presume?" His tone was mocking and cold, not warm and honeyed like she remembered. His mouth was set in grim lines, harsh and unforgiving, not full and swollen from her kisses. His eyes were distant and condescending, not heated and hungry like before.

"You!" The word ripped through her throat. Disbelief echoed in her ears.

Her nameless lover was AJ Riley?

"You were expecting someone else?" He scoffed.

Shock rendered her speechless. She'd slept with AJ ... read full excerpt from: Ask Adam ebook

I was pleasantly surprised when I read this book. It not only had the hot scenes that make a book sizzle, but it had an emotional and sensitive side to it as well. For those of you who want the sizzle with their romance, this book is for you.

Yes, the sex scenes were hot. BUT, I need more than that from my erotica. I like romance with a little extra heat and I like my female characters to be strong and my male characters to be stronger. I found Lexi to be too weak and Adam too distant and too willing to allow Lexi to lay all her emotional cards on the table. The ending was a real hair puller for me. Lexi's desperation and and begging left me absolutely cold. Don't get me wrong, I like my female characters to be strong enough to emotional and weak once in a while. But, hers was a cloying desperation that drove me nuts. It wasn't a bad read, it was just not my cup o' tea.

Sequel to Photo Opportunity, Ask Adam is an story about how one night of great anonymous sex ended up being so much more than it started. Adam appears to have some split personality disorder or something, his moods going for smoking hot to ice cold where Lexi is concerned. He can't seem to make up his mind. She is the first thing to bring him to life in the last 10 years. Can he let go of his past and move on with life, a life with Lexi? The characters have depth, the writing flows, and the sex is steaming. You won't be disappointed.

Sequel to 'Photo Opportunity' but can stand alone. Pitch: How lust at first sight turns into love, overcoming difficulties from the past. This story does not feel too contrived or rushed thanks to enough character development for both hero and heroine. Fairly well written. Definitely hot (except for the last scene which was 'eeewwww', in my opinion, hence the 3.5 instead of 4 stars). All in all, a good book to be read in 2/3 hours.
