This book wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. Parts of it were great, and the storyline was interesting. However, some of the dialogue was strange and a bit forced. Maddie's initial attempts to bed Gabe were just plain bizarre, and his refusals just wouldn't happen with any healthy alpha male that the author leads us to believe Gabe is. It just didn't work for me! That being said, the book got better as it went on, and was actually enjoyable at the end. If you're looking for a quick read with some great sex scenes and just a little bit of suspense this one may just fit the bill. The second book in this series (Tempting Adam) is a much better effort and a great deal more entertaining!
